It's been a long month. Mother had what they call a "light heart attack" and was in the hospital for three days. She received two stents and will be okay. To talk to her you would think it was yesterday.
My sister died at home in Rio Rancho, New Mexico on October 2nd. She was battling breast cancer and lost the battle.
My younger sister insisted that she wanted to ride out to New Mexico with me ~ and she did. The woman can TALK ..... loudly .... and incessantly. We brought Wanda's ashes home with us ~ one last sister trip.
We held a memorial service for Wanda last night. Her son took her ashes with him. I have a small urn with a small portion of her ashes. I plan to take them to the beach. We were always talking about living in Miami someday.
