Our Memorial Day vacation consisted of a visit to Buck's aunt Grace, who is 98 now. We left on Friday afternoon and arrived in Springfield around 8:30 p.m. Saturday we tried to get her to go out for a drive but she doesn't get out of the house for anything. . .well, except to go to the doctor and occasionally to the beauty shop. I did take Ginger (the poodle) for a walk around the neighborhood. She sleeps on the sofa because that is where Ginger is. I didn't want to point out that she could move Ginger's box into a bedroom. She is happy with the arrangement so why rock that boat? Thankfully she has gotten rid of her car so we don't have to worry about her driving. We came home on Sunday and got a good night's sleep so we could work on Monday. I got the gutters cleaned out and he worked on the electronic fence we are going to install so ALL the dogs can run. Yesterday we opened the pool ~ 71 degrees. I'm sure Jakob and I will be the first ones in it.
Peace and love ~
