Today is the last day of September and the plan is to go to the Walk to End Alzheirner’s with the little boys, Greyson and Briggs.  They are “resting” now and we will leave around 12:45.  The event starts at one and it is at the Sloss Furnaces this year.  I’m sure we will NOT actually walk but will do the kids activities, get our tee shirts, maybe a popsicle, and come back to the house.

Tomorrow Greyson will have school and a soccer match.  I did not bring my new shirt because this one was not on the schedule.  Alas, next time perhaps?

Ta for now....

Well it was a TRIP! LOL We got to see the Arch in St. Louis, Mount Rushmore, Crazy Horse Memorial, and Devil’s Tower.  We also saw a walk in clinic in Gillette because Buck was sick.  Did not keep him from his party though.
After we ate and he talked to a few people we headed to Jennifer’s in Windsor.  Got to worship with them on Sunday (Buck didn’t feel well enough to go) and drove the girls to school.  We went to a new park they have in town.
We came back to good old Fort Smith, Arkansas ~ Buck felt like visiting with the guys at Farrell Cooper for an HOUR while I waited in the car.....  The plus here is I got to visit my friend Caroline Montgomery, one of Lisa’s favorite teachers of all time.  We drove by our old house and the trees I planted for Jakob and Topher ~ back when they were our only grandchildren ~ are as tall as the house!!  If I had trees for all of them I would have a small forest LOL.
Still having an “issue” posting photos.

MUAH!!

Good morning from Wyoming!
We made it to Collinsville without incident.  On Wednesday we visited the Gateway Arch in St. Louis and traveled to Sioux Falls, South Dakota.  On Thursday we visited Mount Rushmore, the Crazy Horse monument (in progress), and Devil’s Tower.  It was a BUSY day.  We made it to Gillette Thursday night.  Yesterday we drove around town looking at things we remembered and things we didn’t remember. LOL Buck is sick so we also found a Walk in Clinic ~ got some HUGE pills that will hopefully knock this infection out quickly.
Today we are “scheduled” to attend the Rojo Reunion at 1 p.m.  After that we will head to Windsor for a visit with the Willenbrechts.  I’m hoping I can talk Buck into making a quick appearance at the party so we can head out and he can’t infect anyone ~ I mean WHO wants a sick person at their party anyway, right?
Sitting in the lobby of the Hampton while Buck sleeps ~ I hope!

More later....

Good morning!
It is 6:20 a.m. on this lovely day the Lord has given us.  Buck has a cardiologist appointment this morning and then we will head out on our adventure.  Today’s plan is to travel to Collinsville, Illinois and stop for the night.  I am taking my REAL camera on this trip so hopefully when we return I will be able to share some with you.
My plan is to NOT post all day ~ every day on social media.  There may be a post here and there but hopefully we will be enjoying ourselves so much that there is no time for such things.

Shower time and there is probably some packing to finish.
Ta!

THEY WON!!!!
Good morning!
It’s been a week and I’ve accomplished a little....  I started walking 15 minutes a day and will increase that by five minutes this week.  I painted a flower pot and potted a plant in it.  And I’ve been working on the Digging Deep study.
Today is Greyson’s first soccer match of the season.  He is five ~ it will be intense but hilarious.  I will enjoy it and Buck will endure it.  The parents are intense and the children are hilarious.
Soon we will be embarking on a trip to Wyoming.  The company Buck worked for is having a”reunion” and he is excited to go.  I asked him the other day if I can pick our next destination.  That was a joke because whatever I say he will answer “go ahead” but not because he wants to go with me.
I should get up and moving.  I think he is going with me this morning and we will need to stop and get him some breakfast.
I’ll let you know who wins. Muah!

Hello!
Who says you have to start things on the first of the year?  I’ve decided the first of the month works just at well.  So, what will I start this month?
1.  A new “Digging Deep” bible study
2.  An attempt to walk six days of the week
3.  Going to TRY not to complain
4.  I would say lose weight but that doesn’t usually happen no matter my good intentions.  I will say
Complete a new project.... knit, sew, paint?

Veteran’s Day in America Buck and Chuck were Navy Seabees,  Their dad was Navy Fleet.  Apparently VERY different.  Had to get some work done...
