Recently I wore a pair of shoes that gave me blisters on both heels. Since then I have worn backless shoes, flip flops, and Crocs without socks to allow healing. As you can see feet, come in a variety of sizes in our family. Jakob and Topher have a real problem keeping their shoes tied. Sarah and Claire don't worry about that cause they like barefeet. Buck wears hard toed boots (not pictured) and the dirt covered black shoes for gardening. I like shoes if they are comfortable, flip flops are nice if my nails are painted, and barefeet are great. Then you have the specialty shoes like cleats for baseball or painted on flip flops for fun. Whatever your size or choice ~ take care of your feet ~ they are the foundation that holds up the rest of your body.
